BEYOND ACADEMICS


Samvid Gurukulam’s curriculum is prepares students to adapt and excel in the dynamic environment using the breadth of ciruculum. Respecting the unique strengths of each student, our integrated feedback system helps them perform better over time.

DISASTER MANAGEMENT


Natural calamities and disasters (both natural and man- made) cause incalculable human suffering. We train our students to face such disasters with appropriate skills and courage. Disaster management capsule includes training in following areas:
  • Evaluation and rescue during emergency.
  • Fire-fighting and prevention.
  • Crossing flood- waters , saving human life and property
  • Coding and De-coding messages.
  • First-aid to the injured and the sick during the earthquakes, flood and fire.

MUSIC AND DANCE ACADEMY


Our Music and Dance Academy encourages students to blossom their talents in various fields such as dancing, acting and singing. Students use this platform to exhibit their talents as well.

SCHOOL’S BAND


A large group of students is trained on drums to perform as a complete band for National Anthem; In addition student also learn skills on Keyboard, Guitar and Synthesizer.

ART AND CRAFT ACADEMY


This academy nurtures the artistic talents in students. It provides the students with an opportunity to exhibit their artistic talents. It focuses on pottery, book binding, envelop making, origami, card making , pot painting , collage making, Tie and dye, paper craft, doll making , portrait making, watercolor and oil painting, print making, banner making and photoshop. It gives ample opportunities to create wonders with their creative hands.

GAMES AND SPORTS ACADEMY


To promote skills at games, each student is motivated to develop proficiency in at least one individual sport - athletics, table tennis, lawn tennis, shooting, badminton, and be a part of one team sport among Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Hockey, Kho-Kho or Cricket. We have a multi-station Gymnasium and specified areas for indoor games.

To maximize a child’s potential, we have professional coaches for following sports:

  • Hockey
  • Table tennis
